About MAD Design Interiors
Design that begins with who you are
Your home should reflect your personality, support your lifestyle, and give you a genuine sense of comfort the moment you walk through the door.

Founder and Home Design Consultant
I created MAD Design Interiors from a belief that good design should never be about copying a trend or making a home that looks like everyone else's. It should begin with the person who lives there.
My role is to listen carefully, understand what is working and what is not, and help you make decisions that bring clarity, function, and beauty to your home. Every project is a new canvas — your personality, lifestyle, needs, and budget set the direction.
My background in art, graphic design, and interior design shaped how I see colour, proportion, and balance. My training as a life and wellness coach deepened how I listen, ask questions, and understand what people truly need from their surroundings. The two come together in my work: I look past how a room appears to how it affects the people living in it.
Sometimes that means improving a layout. Sometimes it means simplifying a space, working in pieces that already matter, or helping you feel confident enough to choose what you genuinely love. The goal is always the same — a home that feels cohesive, comfortable, and personal.
A personal understanding of home
Growing up in Lebanon gave me a deep appreciation for what a home truly means. Home was never just a set of rooms — it was where family gathered, food was shared, people felt welcomed, and memories were made. That understanding still shapes how I work.
After moving to Canada, I built MAD Design Interiors from the ground up. Since then I have worked on homes, renovations, kitchens, commercial spaces, investment properties, and staging projects across Halifax and beyond. Each one reinforced a single belief: people don't need a home designed for photographs. They need a home that makes sense for their life and lets them feel like themselves.
A foundation in creativity, design, and human connection
My coaching training isn't a separate service — it's woven into how I listen and understand what a home needs to do for the people who live in it.

My design values
Listen before designing
Every project begins by understanding your lifestyle, priorities, concerns, and vision. The strongest design decisions come from asking the right questions first.
Reflect the individual
Your home should not be defined by influencers or passing trends. It should reflect your personality, your experiences, and the things that matter to you.
Balance beauty and function
A space must look beautiful, but it must also work. Layout, storage, movement, comfort, and everyday routines are considered throughout.
Respect the budget
Good design is not about how much is spent. I help you see where an investment makes a meaningful difference and where a practical alternative works just as well.
Create calm and cohesion
Every selection relates to the overall direction of the home, so the result feels connected and intentional, not cluttered or pieced together.
Support well-being
Our surroundings shape how we feel. I create spaces that encourage comfort, connection, and a greater sense of ease in everyday life.
Built on client experience
I'm grateful for six Best of Houzz Service Awards and for the clients across Halifax who have trusted me with their homes. More than any award, it's that trust — and the relationships built along the way — that matters most.
